AC&R originally stood for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Services, but has grown to be much more. The organization was founded by Dean Hilliard in 1979 with just one vehicle and one employee—him! A strong work ethic and determination to succeed propelled his business forward. Over the years, he earned the confidence of his market, gained respect in the industry and was rewarded with repeat business and a wealth of referrals. Today, Dean and his team of 12 staff members are proud to serve a number of businesses and homeowners within the Northeast region of the state. The AC&R team includes three highly skilled service technicians and three new installation crew members to ensure that each project is delivered with the upmost attention to detail and accuracy for longevity and quality.

AC&R places a great deal of importance on continuing education and affords employees the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of courses and trainings to ensure they are up to date with the newest developments and technology in the HVAC field. AC&R exceeds or complies with all state and local codes. The organization carries all necessary licenses, including local township or borough permits as required. Additionally, technicians are certified through the Environmental Protection Agency in refrigerant recovery, recycling, and reclaim of refrigerants and are also NATE certified.

AC&R is proud to serve all of Northeast Pennsylvania including Luzerne, Columbia, Montour, Carbon, Schuykill, and Lackawanna counties.
